The American Psychiatric Foundation realizes that its support allows organizations across the country to make a difference through unique educational, informational and outreach initiatives that promote the early recognition and treatment of mental illness and encourage leadership in the field of psychiatry. The foundation offers funding on an annual basis to schools wanting to implement the Typical or Troubled?® School Mental Health Education Program. Not all schools are eligible for grants, but may be eligible to implement the program through the Technical Assistance Program.
