Agnes Purcell McGavin Award for Distinguished Career Achievement in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry - Deadline is August 1st

Established in 2000, this award is given to a child and adolescent psychiatrist whose career has been noted for outstanding contributions to the advancement of child and adolescent psychiatry in activities including teaching, research, writing, clinical care, advocacy and policy.

Agnes Purcell McGavin Award for Prevention - Deadline is August 1st

Established in 1964, this award recognizes a child and adolescent psychiatrist who has made significant contributions to the prevention of mental disorders in children and adolescents and has influenced the general well-being of young people.

Blanche F. Ittleson Award for Research in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry - Deadline is August 1st

Recognizes outstanding research in child and adolescent psychiatry. A $2,000 prize and a plaque are presented at the American Psychiatric Association’s Convocation of Fellows in May at the Annual Meeting.
