The Minority Fellowships Program (MFP) endeavors to eliminate racial and ethnic disparities in mental health and substance abuse care by providing specialized training to psychiatry residents and medical students interested in serving minority communities.

Jeanne Spurlock, M.D. Congressional Fellowship

The Jeanne Spurlock Congressional Fellowship provides all psychiatry residents, fellows and early career psychiatrists an opportunity to work in a Congressional office on federal health policy, particularly policy related to child and/or minority issues.

This award acknowledges the achievements of former fellows of the Minority Fellowships (SAMHSA or Diversity Leadership) who have made (or is making) significant contribution(s) to the profession and/or the minority community.
